Rock, pop, classical, metal or bluegrass? Is music a big part of your life? With us, you will develop your skills in interaction, songwriting/composition and theory.
Much of the time is spent playing. Here you develop your individual skills as a musician and learn the art of playing together with others. You will progress through rehearsing and performing pieces in different genres chosen both by your teacher and by yourself. Here you will be able to share and immerse yourself in your own and others' interests. The music line has its own building with auditorium, studio and band/rehearsal room; we have a grand piano and a Fender Rhodes Mk. 1.
Composing/songwriting and theory: You will follow a program that gives you a deeper understanding as a practical musician and assists you in your own compositions and arrangements. You will create your own songs/compositions and have the opportunities to collaborate with the school's actors, players and artists. You will attend workshops in scriptwriting, the music industry and experience playing in different kind of bands.
You will perform at concerts both inside and outside the school. At the end, there will be a tour organized by yourself and your fellow students.
